Laxmikant Bajpai

Laxmikant Bajpai is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha and as a National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Previously, he served four terms as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the Meerut constituency and held the position of State President for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Known for his austere lifestyle and clean public image, Bajpai played a significant role in the party's electoral successes in the region, including the 2014 general elections. He began his political career in student leadership and later led the youth wing of the Janata Party before joining the BJP.
