Ajay Maken

Ajay Maken is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, representing Karnataka. A long-standing member of the Indian National Congress, he has held various high-level positions, including Union Cabinet Minister for Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Minister of State for Home Affairs. Throughout his career, he has served three terms in the Lok Sabha and three terms in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, where he also notably served as the youngest Speaker of the Assembly. Maken remains an influential figure within the party, currently serving as the treasurer of the All India Congress Committee and a member of the Congress Working Committee.
