P. Chidambaram

P. Chidambaram is an Indian politician and lawyer currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. A prominent member of the Indian National Congress, he has held several high-profile cabinet positions, including serving as the Union Minister of Finance four times and as the Union Minister of Home Affairs. Throughout his extensive career, he has been a key figure in shaping India's economic and security policies, notably overseeing the government's response to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Educated at Harvard Business School and Madras Law College, he practiced as a senior advocate before dedicating his career to national politics.
