Madhu Bangarappa is an Indian politician, film producer, and actor currently serving as the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education in the Government of Karnataka. A member of the Indian National Congress, he represents the Sorab Assembly constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Before his current ministerial role, he was a member of the Janata Dal (Secular) and has been active in state politics for over a decade. Beyond his political career, he is known for his work in the Kannada film industry and as an amateur radio operator. He is the son of the late former Chief Minister of Karnataka, S. Bangarappa.
