이병선

Lee Byung-sun is a South Korean politician currently serving as the Mayor of Sokcho. Born in 1963 in Sokcho, he began his political career as a member of the Gangwon Provincial Council, where he served two terms from 2002 to 2010. After an unsuccessful bid for mayor in 2010, he was elected as the Mayor of Sokcho in 2014. Following a period out of office, he returned to the position in 2022 and was subsequently re-elected. His professional background includes experience as a legislative aide, a university administrator, and a professor of police administration.
