Lee Sang-ho is a South Korean politician currently serving as the Mayor of Taebaek. Born in 1973 in Taebaek, he previously served as a member of the Gangwon Provincial Council. He was first elected as the Mayor of Taebaek in 2022 and successfully secured re-election in 2026. Before entering politics, he managed an educational institute and holds a master's degree in local government studies from Hanyang University. His tenure has focused on regional development and addressing the economic challenges posed by the closure of local coal mines.
