Oh Se-hoon is a South Korean politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Seoul. First elected to the position in 2006, he served until 2011 before returning to office in 2021. A member of the People Power Party, he previously served as a member of the 16th National Assembly from 2000 to 2004, where he gained recognition for his legislative work on political reform. Throughout his career, he has focused on urban development, environmental policy, and social welfare initiatives, including the 'Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture' and various water-related infrastructure projects. He is known for his advocacy for South Korea's nuclear armament to counter North Korean threats and his opposition to the declaration of martial law in 2024.
