Lena Saniye Güngör is a German politician and the Vice President of the Landtag of Thuringia. Born in 1993, she studied psychology and applied ethics at the Technical University of Chemnitz and the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. A member of The Left party, she was first elected to the Thuringian state parliament in 2019 and has served as a member of the Jena city council since the same year. Her political focus includes labor, trade union policy, health, and social equality. In 2024, she secured a direct mandate for the Jena II constituency and was subsequently elected as Vice President of the state parliament.
