Lene Vågslid

Lene Vågslid is a Norwegian politician and the current Minister of Children and Families, having assumed the office in February 2025. A member of the Labour Party, she has served as a representative in the Parliament of Norway for Telemark since 2013, following a term as a deputy representative. Throughout her parliamentary career, she chaired the Standing Committee on Justice and the Standing Committee on Local Government and Public Administration. As minister, she has focused on child welfare reform, institutional security, and digital safety for minors.
