Leni Robredo

Leni Robredo is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the 18th Mayor of Naga since 2025. She previously served as the 14th Vice President of the Philippines from 2016 to 2022 and represented Camarines Sur in the House of Representatives from 2013 to 2016. A member of the Liberal Party, Robredo is known for her advocacy in poverty alleviation, women's empowerment, and participatory governance. During her vice presidency, she led the anti-poverty program Angat Buhay and became a prominent opposition figure. She holds a law degree from the University of Nueva Caceres and previously worked as a legal coordinator for the alternative legal support group SALIGAN.
