Leon Alam

Leon Dewan Alam is a German politician and member of the Hamburg Parliament, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in 1996 in Hamburg, he became active in the Green Youth and the Green Party following the 2017 federal election. Alam served as a spokesperson for the Green Youth in Hamburg from 2019 to 2021 and as deputy state chair of the Green Party from 2021 to 2023. In June 2023, he was elected as the state chair of the Green Party in Hamburg. He holds a bachelor's degree in media and communication studies from the University of Hamburg and is currently pursuing a master's degree in political science.
