Leonard Krog

Leonard Krog is a Canadian politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Nanaimo, British Columbia. A member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party, he previously served in the provincial legislature as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Parksville-Qualicum and later for Nanaimo. Throughout his career, Krog has been a prominent figure in provincial politics, having served as an opposition critic and as the Government Caucus Chair. He transitioned to municipal leadership in 2018 and was re-elected as mayor in 2022.
