Leslie Williams

Leslie Williams is an Australian former politician who served as the member for Port Macquarie in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 2011 until her resignation in 2025. Initially a member of the National Party, she defected to the Liberal Party in 2020 following policy disagreements. During her parliamentary career, she held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Minister for Early Childhood Education, and served as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 2019 to 2023. Before entering politics, she worked as a teacher, a nursing professional, and a business owner.
