Lezlye Zupkus

Lezlye Zupkus is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 89th District which includes portions of Bethany, Cheshire, and Prospect. Born in Lambert, Mississippi, in 1966, she moved to Prospect in 1993 and became actively involved in local community affairs. Before her election to the state legislature, she served as a commissioner on the Prospect Planning and Zoning board from 1998 to 2000. Zupkus is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently serving her sixth term in the Connecticut House of Representatives after defeating the incumbent candidate in her initial successful campaign.
