Liew Chin Tong is a Malaysian politician and author who currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry and as the Member of Parliament for Iskandar Puteri. A prominent member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he has held various leadership roles within the party, including National Strategic Director. Throughout his career, he has served as a Senator, Deputy Minister of Defence, and a member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly. Liew is also a prolific writer, having authored several books on Malaysian politics and history, and previously worked as an executive director for research institutes such as the Penang Institute and REFSA.
