Lilia Usik

Lilia Usik is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, representing the Lichtenberg 6 constituency since 2023. Born in Ukraine, she is the first person of Ukrainian origin to be elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. Before her legislative career, she worked as a research assistant in the Bundestag and as a consultant for the Federal Association of the German Security and Defence Industry. Within the CDU parliamentary group, she serves as the spokesperson for youth policy and is a member of the committees for education, youth, and family, as well as urban development, construction, and housing.
