Lisa Marie Chesters is an Australian politician who has served as the Member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Bendigo since 2013. A member of the Australian Labor Party, she is the first woman to represent the seat. Before entering federal parliament, she was a union organiser for United Voice and held senior administrative roles within the Victorian branch of the Labor Party. During her parliamentary career, she has served as a shadow assistant minister with portfolios in workplace relations and regional Australia. Chesters holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and has been a prominent advocate for labor rights and regional development.
