Lise Selnes

Lise Selnes is a Norwegian politician and former schoolteacher who has served as a member of the Storting for Hedmark since 2021. In October 2025, she was elected as the second Vice President of the Storting. Prior to her parliamentary career, she made history as the first woman to serve as the mayor of Nord-Odal Municipality, holding the position from 2011 to 2021. Additionally, she has served as the leader of the Innlandet Labour Party since 2021, focusing on regional development and education policy.
