Liudmyla Buimister is a Ukrainian politician and manager serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine for the IX convocation. Born in Moscow to a family of diplomats, she holds degrees from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and the London Business School. Before entering politics, she held executive roles in the energy and industrial sectors, including serving as the director of GSG Towers in Poland. Elected to parliament in 2019 as a representative of the Servant of the People party, she later became an independent deputy after being excluded from the faction in 2021. She has served on the Committee on Economic Development and is a member of the permanent delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. In 2022, she joined the Special Operations Forces to support Ukraine's defense efforts.
