Liz Hanbidge

Liz Hanbidge is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 61st Legislative District in Montgomery County since 2019. She made history as the first Democrat to hold the seat since its formation in 1969. Before her legislative career, Hanbidge practiced law in Montgomery County and taught civics to middle school students. She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Oxford, Harvard University, and the University of Wisconsin Law School. In the state legislature, she serves on several committees, including Agriculture & Rural Affairs and Local Government.
