Lloyd Smucker

Lloyd Kenneth Smucker is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 11th congressional district. Born in 1964 into an Old Order Amish family, he transitioned into a career as a commercial construction executive before entering public service. Smucker served in the Pennsylvania State Senate from 2009 to 2016 before his election to Congress. A staunch conservative, he advocates for tax cuts, reduced federal spending, and pro-life policies, while maintaining a consistent record of opposition to the Affordable Care Act and federal gun-control legislation.
