Lo Mei-ling

Lo Mei-ling is a Malaysian-born Taiwanese politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan. After immigrating to Taiwan in 1987, she pursued an academic career before entering politics, serving on the Nantou County Council from 2014 to 2020. As a legislator, she has focused on the rights of new immigrants, child welfare, suicide prevention, and animal protection. She is a prominent advocate for social policy reforms and has established inter-parliamentary groups to foster international relations.
