
Lola Ade-John
Profile
Lola Ade-John is a Nigerian information and technology expert, banker, and former Minister of Tourism. She studied computer science at the University of Ibadan, where she graduated in 1984 and later earned a master's degree in the same field. Prior to her government appointment, she worked extensively in the banking and technology sectors, including stints with Shell Petroleum, Magnum Trust Bank, Access Bank, United Bank for Africa, and Ecobank, before founding Novateur Business Technology Consultants in 2013. On August 16, 2023, she was appointed Minister of Tourism by President Bola Tinubu, a position she held until her dismissal in October 2024.
