Lori Gramlich

Lori Gramlich is an American politician and social worker serving as a member of the Maine House of Representatives for the 131st district. First elected in 2018, she balances her legislative duties with a faculty position at the University of Southern Maine. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Gramlich has been a prominent advocate for legislation supporting abuse survivors, environmental protection, and LGBTQ+ rights. Her policy work includes successfully introducing bills to ban conversion therapy and to regulate per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in consumer products.
