Lorraine Inouye

Lorraine Inouye is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii State Senate, representing District 4. A member of the Democratic Party, she has had a long career in public service, including serving on the Hawaii County Council and as the Mayor of Hawaii County, where she became the first Filipino-American woman to hold that office. Prior to her political career, she worked as a hotelier and managed a family-owned anthurium farm. She has represented her district in the state senate across multiple terms, focusing on local governance and community development.
