Dave Craven

Dave Craven is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate. Appointed in 2020 to fill a vacancy, he has represented the 29th district since 2023, having previously served the 26th district. Before entering the legislature, he worked as a senior vice president at Fidelity Bank and chaired the Randolph County Republican Party. During his tenure, he has focused on environmental policy, notably proposing legislation to restrict shrimp trawling near the coast to protect marine life. He is also active in his local community as the president of the Asheboro Rotary Club.
