Lucas Redecker is a Brazilian politician currently serving as a federal deputy for the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Born in Novo Hamburgo, he is the son of the late politician Júlio Redecker and began his political career in the youth wing of the Brazilian Progressive Party before joining the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB). Throughout his career, he has served as a state deputy in the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Sul and as the state's Secretary of Mines and Energy. A practicing Lutheran, Redecker has focused his legislative work on economic development, energy policy, and infrastructure, while maintaining a conservative political stance.
