Lucy McBath is an American politician serving as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Georgia's 6th congressional district. After her son, Jordan Davis, was murdered in 2012, she became a prominent advocate for gun control and served as a national spokeswoman for Moms Demand Action. First elected to Congress in 2018, she has focused her legislative career on gun safety, maternal health, and economic issues. McBath is a member of the New Democrat Coalition and serves on the House Judiciary Committee.
