Luis Emilio Rondón

Luis Emilio Rondón Hernández is a Venezuelan politician and academic who served as a member of the National Assembly of Venezuela for the 2016–2021 term, representing the state of Nueva Esparta. A member of the social-democratic party A New Time (Un Nuevo Tiempo), he has held the position of executive vice president within the organization and previously served as a vice president of the Parlasur for Venezuela. Academically, he holds a PhD in development studies and has worked as a professor at the Central University of Venezuela and the Santa María University. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for democratic processes and human rights, frequently commenting on the political and electoral challenges facing the country.
