Luis Pardo Sainz

Luis Rafael Pardo Sainz is a Chilean politician and former military officer born on December 13, 1960. He served as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile representing the Valparaíso Region from 2018 to 2022 as a member of National Renewal. Prior to his legislative career, he had a military career in the Chilean Army, worked as a communications consultant, and held prominent leadership roles in media associations, including presiding over the Asociación de Radiodifusores de Chile and the International Association of Broadcasting, where he advocated extensively for freedom of expression and media freedom.
