Luke Campbell

Luke Campbell is a British politician and former professional boxer who has served as the inaugural Mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire since May 2025, representing the Reform UK party. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a distinguished athletic career, winning a gold medal in the bantamweight division at the 2012 London Olympics and achieving success as a professional boxer between 2013 and 2021. Known by the nickname 'Cool Hand', he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2013 for his services to the sport.
