Luminița Păucean-Fernandes

Luminița Păucean-Fernandes is a Romanian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Romania. Elected in December 2024 to represent the Sibiu constituency, she assumed office on December 21, 2024, as a representative of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR). In the Senate, she serves on the Committee for Education, Science and Innovation, as well as the Committee for Health. Additionally, she has been a member of several parliamentary friendship groups since March 2025, including those focused on relations with Cyprus, Denmark, Georgia, Lithuania, and Norway.
