Lupe Contreras

Lupe Contreras is an American politician serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for the 22nd district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he currently holds the position of Minority Leader within the House. His legislative career began with his initial election to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2013, followed by his service in the Arizona Senate representing the 19th district from 2015 to 2023. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on fiscal responsibility, federalism, and judiciary matters.
