Lutfozzaman Babar is a Bangladeshi politician affiliated with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party who serves as a member of parliament from the Netrokona-4 constituency. He previously served as the State Minister for Home Affairs from 2001 to 2006 and was instrumental in the establishment of the Rapid Action Battalion. After spending over seventeen years in prison and facing multiple legal charges during subsequent administrations, he was acquitted by the High Court and released in January 2025 before winning the Netrokona-4 seat in the 2026 general elections.
