M. Krishnappa is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for the Bangalore South constituency. First elected to the assembly in 2008, he has secured three consecutive terms in office. Before his legislative career, he served in the Zilla Panchayat and as the Deputy Chairman of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation. Beyond his political duties, he is known for his work as a wildlife conservation activist, notably adopting animals at the Bannerghatta National Park.
