He holds a law degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California and has built a long career in public service, including serving as a local deputy in the Baja California State Congress and as a federal deputy for the 5th District of Baja California. In February 2026, he assumed the office of Senator for Baja California following the passing of Gustavo Sánchez Vásquez.
