Machfud Arifin is an Indonesian politician and retired police officer currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) representing the South Kalimantan II electoral district. A former high-ranking police official, he previously served as the Chief of the East Java Regional Police and held various leadership roles within the Indonesian National Police. After retiring from his law enforcement career, he entered politics, notably running for Mayor of Surabaya in 2020 before his election to the national legislature in 2024. He is also a member of the NasDem Party's Advisory Council.
