He studied sociology at the University of Silesia in Katowice and worked as a radio journalist and public relations specialist before entering public office. A member of the Civic Platform party, he previously served as a city councillor, council chairman, and deputy mayor of Tychy, as well as acting mayor before winning the mayoral election in 2024.
