Maciej Kupaj is a Polish politician and entrepreneur who has served as the Mayor of Legnica since 2024. A member of the Civic Platform party, he previously served as a member of the Legnica City Council, having been elected to the body in 2014 and 2018. Before entering politics, he worked in the consulting and insurance sectors. He holds a degree in political science from the University of Wrocław and was elected mayor in the 2024 local elections after winning the second round of voting with 65.94% of the vote.
