Madeleine Dean is an American politician and lawyer serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district since 2019. Before her election to Congress, she served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she focused on issues such as gun violence prevention, education funding, and criminal justice reform. A former law professor and practicing attorney, Dean was also appointed as an impeachment manager for the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump in 2021. She is known for her advocacy on social issues and her work within the Democratic caucus.
