Mahadev Jankar is an Indian politician and the founder and National President of the Rashtriya Samaj Paksha, a political party he established in 2003. Born into a peasant family in the Satara district, he holds a degree in electrical engineering from Walchand College of Engineering. Jankar previously served as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Maharashtra, overseeing Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries. He has been a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics, having contested multiple Lok Sabha elections and serving as a Member of the Legislative Council before his current role in the Legislative Assembly.
