A member of the National Democratic Congress, he has held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Information and Media Relations and Minister of Youth and Sports. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in Ghanaian legislative affairs, having served in multiple parliaments since 2005. He holds a Master of Law degree from Harvard Law School and previously worked as a legal educator and executive director of the Legal Resources Centre.
