Mahendra Bahadur Shahi is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. He previously served as the Chief Minister of Karnali Province from 2018 to 2021. A prominent member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), Shahi also held the position of Minister of Energy in the federal government. Throughout his career, he has been a key figure in regional governance and national politics, having also served as a member of the 1st Nepalese Constituent Assembly.
