Mahendra Hardia

Mahendra Hardia is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Indore-5 constituency in Madhya Pradesh. A long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has secured victory in his constituency for five consecutive terms since 2003. During his political career, he previously served as the Health Minister for the state of Madhya Pradesh, where he was notable for implementing the Janani Suraksha Yojna, a healthcare initiative designed to support pregnant women. Hardia began his political journey as a youth leader at Indore University and has remained a prominent political figure in the region for decades.
