Maheshwar Hazari

Maheshwar Hazari is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Kalyanpur constituency. A seasoned political figure, he previously served as the Deputy Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and held various ministerial portfolios, including Industry, Planning and Development, and Urban Development and Housing. Throughout his career, he has been involved in significant infrastructure projects such as the Patna Metro. Hazari is a five-time MLA and a former member of the Indian Parliament, having represented the Samastipur Lok Sabha constituency. He comes from a political family, being the son of the socialist leader Ramsewak Hazari.
