Maithili Thakur

Maithili Thakur is an Indian politician and playback singer who currently serves as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Alinagar constituency. Born in 2000, she gained national prominence as a child prodigy in Indian classical and folk music, performing in multiple languages and promoting the traditional Madhubani art form. After a successful career in the music industry, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2025 and was elected as the youngest MLA in India, leveraging her cultural influence to engage voters across the region.
