Μακάριος Λαζαρίδης

Makarios Lazaridis is a Greek politician and journalist who has served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Kavala constituency since 2019. A long-time communications advisor to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, he previously held various roles in public administration and party communications. In April 2026, he briefly served as Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food before resigning following public controversy regarding the validity of his academic credentials and past government appointments.
