Mallam Gana Bukar Kareto is a Nigerian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Kukawa/Mobbar/Abadam/Guzamalai Federal Constituency. Born on December 31, 1969, in Borno State, he has built a long career in public service. Before his current tenure in the National Assembly, he served as a ward councillor, the Caretaker Chairman of the Mobbar Local Government Council in 2004, and as a member of the Borno State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2011. He holds an Advanced Diploma from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maiduguri.
