Manuel Espino Barrientos

Manuel Espino Barrientos is a Mexican politician and businessman who has held various high-level positions in both the public and private sectors. A former national president of the National Action Party (PAN) from 2005 to 2007, he later shifted his political affiliation to Movimiento Ciudadano and eventually joined Morena. Throughout his career, he has served as a federal deputy in multiple legislatures and held administrative roles, including Director of the National College of Professional Technical Education (CONALEP) and Commissioner of the Federal Protection Service. Espino is known for his extensive background in public security and his controversial advocacy for negotiating with criminal organizations to reduce violence in Mexico.
