Marc Pena is a French academic and politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 11th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône. An expert in the history of law, he previously served as the dean of the law faculty at Aix-Marseille University and as president of Paul-Cézanne University. Entering politics through local government, he was elected as a municipal and metropolitan councilor in Aix-en-Provence in 2020. In 2024, he was elected to the National Assembly as a candidate for the New Popular Front and subsequently joined the Socialist Party, where he now sits on the Law Committee.
